Peter Seldon

Peter Seldon - CEO

As Chief Executive Officer of Consultus Care and Nursing for over twenty years, Peter brings a wealth of leadership experience and a deeply felt passion for delivering high-quality, person-centered care in client’s own homes - having experienced first hand the impact of 24/7 live in care on his own Mother for over seven years.

With a strong and successful background in tech, transformation and strategic growth in both the USA and the UK, Peter is dedicated to ensuring that this family owned and run care business for families, continues to be a trusted provider of one to one live-in care and nursing services across the UK, enabling older people to remain as independent as possible in the comfort and familiarity of their own homes where unsurprisingly independent research confirms most older people wish to stay.

Peter’s leadership philosophy is built on trust, collaboration, and a deep and shared understanding of the needs of his clients and those of his carers and nurses. He is committed to building on Consultus' long-standing tradition of excellence whilst driving forward tech. innovation which further enhances the lives of those in receipt of Consultus care and nursing, as well as their family members.

Matt Seldon

Matt Seldon - Strategy & System Director

Matt used to visit his Great Auntie Anne at Consultus when at school near the offices; the family heritage and influence has helped direct his career, leading to areas of expertise in technology, business and care. He continues to be involved in a successful apprenticeship & care training online platform that was setup by himself and a business partner in the mid-2000s. Matt became increasingly involved with Consultus from 2020 onwards, and is helping the company to leverage and implement technology and systems that benefit our clients, their families, carers and our staff. Outside of work, Matt is a semi-professional musician as well as a keen golfer.

Deborah Kettle

Deborah Kettle - Finance & HR Director

Debbie joined Consultus in May 2008, bringing with her 43 years of experience across finance and administration. Over the years, she has developed a wealth of knowledge. As a dedicated professional, Debbie focuses on instilling confidence in her team by ensuring they have a clear understanding of their roles, providing strong leadership, and empowering them to succeed. She is also committed to supporting her team in overcoming any challenges they may face in the workplace.

Outside of work, Debbie enjoys spending time with her family and new grandson, walking her two dogs, and socialising with fun, light-hearted friends.

Laura Cooper

Laura Cooper - Registered Manager

Laura joined our team as a trainer in April 2013, bringing over a decade of healthcare experience from a variety of settings, including care homes, nursing homes and domiciliary care. Having started her caring career as a carer at the age of just 15, Laura soon realised the caring industry was her passion. Laura was promoted to Registered Manager in August 2022.

"I take great pleasure in leading the team towards a promising future for Consultus, and am continually inspired by the difference we make to the lives of our clients and their families."

Outside of work she enjoys football and spending time with her family.

Steph Kent

Steph Kent - Operations Manager

Having worked in the healthcare industry for more than 7 years, gaining skills in recruitment and compliance, Steph has expanded her expertise into operations, gaining valuable experience that has helped her develop into her current role as Operations Manager. This combination of recruitment, compliance, and operational experience allows her to approach her work with a holistic perspective, ensuring the best care and service possible.

In Steph's free time, she enjoys cycling, swimming and history, and is a big fan of Chinese, Indian, and Thai cuisines!

Andy Wilson - Sales & Marketing Manager

Andy joined our team as Sales & Marketing Manager in November 2024, bringing over eight years of experience in the care sector. Passionate about helping people maintain their independence in their later years, Andy is dedicated to ensuring individuals receive the support they need to remain in their homes comfortably and safely.

Before transitioning into the care industry, Andy had an impressive career as a professional golfer, even coaching several Premier League footballers. Outside of work, he still enjoys hitting the golf course and spending time with his wife and their pug, Floyd.

Susan Antenbring

Susan Antenbring - Training Manager

Susan joined Consultus in April 2006 to create and develop Consultus' carer training and 19 years later she now manages the training department that is endorsed as a Centre of Excellence by Skills for Care. Qualified as a Registered General Nurse in 1987, Susan is an experienced trainer, qualified assessor and verifier. She has excellent communication and people skills, with a passion and dedication to train Consultus carers to the very highest standards. Susan's approach to training excellence saw Consultus win the 'Training and Development' award with high commendation at the 2025 Home Care Awards.

Lucy Cruttwell

Lucy Cruttwell - Recruitment Consultant

Lucy joined Consultus in October 2022, bringing with her four years of experience as an HR and Recruitment Officer for a large domiciliary care company, where she initially started as a part-time carer. It was during this time that Lucy developed a passion for the care industry. She knew that when the time came to return to HR and Recruitment, she wanted to focus on care, rather than returning to the corporate sector.

Lucy is passionate and dedicated to providing Consultus clients with the best quality carers in the industry. The recruitment team has been recognised at the 2025 Home Care Awards winning the 'Recruitment, Retention and Staff Motivation Expertise' award.

Jane Pochel

Jane Pochel - Nurse Co-Ordinator

Jane joined Consultus as a Nurse Co-ordinator in September 2022, bringing over 20 years of experience in a wide variety of clinical settings in the UK and Australia. Throughout her career, Jane has worked in the areas of emergency/critical care, international medical assistance, and specialist infusion administration in the community. Passionate about nursing and healthcare in all its forms, Jane has dedicated herself to ensuring people can receive safe and effective nursing care in their own homes at all stages of life.

Life outside of work is very active. When Jane is not busy with her two children, she can be found at the gym or with a knitting project.
