Every carer will have their own private room in the client's home, Wi-Fi access and, in some cases, the use of a vehicle for eligible drivers.

You will be matched carefully to your clients so the time you spend with your clients will not only benefit them, but also you.

Assignments are available now; we have a range of flexible rotas to choose from all over the UK.

The Role of a Consultus Live-in Nurse

The role of a live-in nurse is to:

• Deliver person-centred nursing to all clients, making them feel valued, happy and involved in the delivery of their care
• Attend to the needs of our clients who have chosen to receive nursing in the comfort of their own home, rather than in a care home or hospital
• Promote the independence and dignity of your client
  
• Offer comfort and support for your client, their family representatives and work alongside health care professionals
  
• Undertake light housekeeping duties, including the preparation of nutritious meals
• Maintain care records precisely within given guidelines
• Liaise with Nurse Coordinators and other nurses to ensure continuity of care delivered to your client
  
• As you may be in a lone working environment you must ensure that the office is kept informed of any significant changes in the clients' health and well-being
• Adopt a flexible approach to meet the clients' requirements; it may be necessary for you to undertake additional duties within your capabilities
• Undertake all mandatory training required by Consultus for your position as a live-in nurse

What are we looking for? 

You must be able to undertake a minimum of 12 weeks work per year.
